Lecture Data Analysis in R for Information Systems Research
Content
The aim of the course "Data Analysis in R for Information Systems Research" is to introduce the methodology of estimating structural equation models. This includes an overview of the necessary statistical basics, the analysis of application examples of the methodology in the business information systems context as well as an introduction to the application of the methodology using R.
Schedule
The course will take place in-person in block sessions.
Requirements
Students should have knowledge in statistics on masters level (preferable thorugh the complementary course 'Computational Statistics - Regression in R'). It is possible to attend this course and the complementary course 'Computational Statistics - Regression in R' in the same semester. Additionally, students should be familiar with the sofware packages R and RStudio (e.g. by previous experience or by reading the online documentation).
